The process began with a detailed property evaluation where they assessed the resort, unit size, view, season, and points allocation. Week 1: Initial consultation and property evaluation. They pulled comparable sales data and recommended listing at $8,500 (I originally wanted $12,000). Weeks 2-4: Professional photography wasn't available for my resort, so we used marketing photos. They created the listing with detailed descriptions of the resort amenities and my specific ownership benefits. Months 2-3: The listing was active on multiple platforms. I received the first serious inquiry at week 6. Two potential buyers toured the resort but didn't make offers. Month 4: Received an offer at $7,200. After negotiation through my rep, we settled at $7,800. Months 5-6: Escrow and transfer process. The buyer's financing took 3 weeks to clear. Title transfer was handled by their in-house closing team. Total time from listing to close: 6 months. Net proceeds after commission and fees: $6,240.

I received my official release letter 5 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $2300 (as quoted). Mixed feelings overall, but they did get the job done.
