Vacation Liberation CoReviews mentioning Dorothy Sullivan
Smooth Process from Start to Finish
Vacation Liberation CoStarted the process in June, completed by November. The company followed their stated timeline closely. Initial document review took 2 weeks, resort notification letter was sent in week 3, and the back-and-forth with the resort took about 3 months. Final transfer documents were completed in October, and I received my release letter on November 15th. Total cost was $2,800 with no surprises.
Would Not Recommend
Vacation Liberation CoI worked with this company for approximately 13 months to complete my timeshare deed-back. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 3-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 4 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 13 months instead of the 6 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 13 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $1600 (higher than the initial quote of $2100). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
Eventually Worked Out
Vacation Liberation CoI worked with this company for approximately 12 months to complete my timeshare charity donation. The initial consultation took about 3 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. The document phase went smoothly but communication became inconsistent during months 4-6. I had to follow up several times to get status updates. However, they did eventually complete the work and achieved the charity donation as promised. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 4 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $3200 (as quoted). Mixed feelings overall, but they did get the job done.
