Quick and Professional Transfer

I inherited a timeshare from my parents and needed to transfer it to my name or dispose of it. I chose this company after researching several options online and checking their BBB rating. Day 1-3: Initial consultation and document collection. They reviewed my parents' original contract, the will, probate documents, and current maintenance fee statements. Week 1: They provided three options: (1) Transfer to my name, (2) Donate to their charity partner program, (3) Attempt resale. I chose option 2 since I had no interest in keeping the timeshare. Weeks 2-3: They prepared all transfer documents and coordinated with the charity that would receive the ownership. Week 4: I signed documents at a local notary (they paid for the notary service). Documents were submitted to the resort. Weeks 5-8: Waiting period for resort approval of the transfer. Week 9: Received confirmation that the transfer was complete and I was released from all future obligations. Total process: 9 weeks. Total cost: $1,200 flat fee (no hidden charges).

What went well:

The entire process was straightforward and matched their initial timeline estimate almost exactly. Communication was excellent - I received email updates twice weekly and could always reach my case manager by phone. The flat fee structure meant no surprises. They were patient in explaining each step and what documents were needed.

I worked with this company for approximately 7 months to complete my timeshare transfer. The initial consultation took about 1 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Phase 1 involved document collection and contract analysis, which was thorough and professional. Phase 2 was the negotiation with the resort, where my case manager kept me informed throughout. The team communicated regularly via email and phone calls. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 6 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $4800 (as quoted). I would recommend this company to others in similar situations.

What went well:

My case manager was patient in explaining each step of the process.

Poor Communication Throughout

I worked with this company for approximately 7 months to complete my timeshare exit. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 4-phase process in detail. Communication dropped significantly after the first month. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, I often went 3 weeks without hearing anything. The process took 7 months instead of the 6 months they initially quoted. I'm still waiting for resolution after 7 months and have filed complaints with the BBB. Total cost: $3400 (higher than the initial quote of $2600). I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

What went well:

Very little went well in this process. The initial sales pitch was convincing but the follow-through was severely lacking.
