Some Frustrations But Successful

3/5

Rep: Michael Johnson

I worked with this company for approximately 16 months to complete my timeshare exit. The initial consultation took about 1 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 3-phase process in detail. The document phase went smoothly but communication became inconsistent during months 4-5. I had to follow up several times to get status updates. However, they did eventually complete the work and achieved the exit as promised. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 5 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $3300 (as quoted). Mixed feelings overall, but they did get the job done.

What went well:

The initial consultation was informative and the case manager assigned to me was helpful when I could reach them.

Hidden Fees Destroyed the Experience

Initial quote: $2,500 for timeshare exit. Final cost: $4,700. Timeline: month 1 paid initial fee. Month 3 told I needed "expedited processing" for additional $800. Month 5 told legal filing fees would be $600 extra. Month 7 told resort required additional documentation processing at $800. Month 9 finally received release. 4 months over estimated timeline.

What went well:

They did eventually complete the exit. The final result (freedom from the timeshare) was achieved. The resort did confirm my release.

Some Frustrations But Successful

3/5

I worked with this company for approximately 18 months to complete my timeshare exit. The initial consultation took about 2 weeks, during which they reviewed my ownership documents and explained their 2-phase process in detail. The document phase went smoothly but communication became inconsistent during months 4-6. I had to follow up several times to get status updates. However, they did eventually complete the work and achieved the exit as promised. The final phase involved signing release documents and waiting for resort confirmation. I received my official release letter 4 weeks after the paperwork was submitted. Total cost: $1900 (as quoted). Mixed feelings overall, but they did get the job done.

What went well:

The flat fee structure meant I knew exactly what I was paying from the start.
